Arrival at the hotel after 22h
For security reasons we shut the entrance door at 22h. If you arrive at the hotel afterwards, please ring the bell next to the entrance gates from the Teufelhof (Leonhardsgraben 47-49). Our night porter will be happy to open the entrance gates for you.
Assembly point
In the event of an evacuation, the assembly point is on the summer terrace (in front of the hotel, under the shade sail).
Baby monitor
Do you need a baby monitor? We will be happy to provide you with one free-of-charge.
Baselcard
Not yet made any plans for during your stay with us at the SET? As well as free use of public transport or free surfing using guest Wi-Fi, you can also explore the whole city for reduced prices with the BaselCard given to you at check in! 50% discount on admission to the Basel museums, Basel Zoo, Basel Theatre and much more. Experience it for yourself!
Bed linen
For long-term stays, your bed linen will be changed once a week. However, at your request, the bed linen can be changed daily.
All comforters are contemporary and well-maintained.
If you need additional comforters, please notify the Ambassadors.

Our Beschle confectionery in the lobby of the SET Hotel.Residence is open daily between 07:00 and 16:00.

We kindly request that you check out by 12 noon at the latest on your day of departure. If you would like to stay longer in Basel, you can store your luggage with our ambassadors.
Computer/ printer
We are happy to provide our laptop in the hotel lobby of the Teufelhof free-of-charge for guest use. You can use it to access the internet or print files.
Concierge
Are you looking for something really special? A helicopter flight over Basel for example, or perhaps just flowers for your room? We are happy to help you with any enquiries about your stay. Contact our ambassadors in the lobby. If it’s something really quirky, we also work together with Savoir Faire’s private concierge services.

The nearest cash point is at Credit Suisse, 150 metres from the hotel.
Desk
In all rooms there is a desk with accessible socket and a desk lamp for sufficient light.

falstaff wine shop is always open and accessible via Reception at the Teufelhof. We would be happy to assist you in your wine selection.

Our gym is available for you to use free-of-charge 24/7. You can access it using your room key.

Ironing board
We are happy to bring an iron and ironing board to your room for you. Please contact our Ambassadors.
Laundry
You have the option of having your laundry washed and/or ironed by us for you. You’ll find a laundry list in your wardrobe. Ironing can be done within an hour and we can carry out dry cleaning within 12 hours. Please contact Reception.
Library
Is your e-reader out of battery? You’ll find books and today’s newspapers in the lobby. Offline and with no battery.

Pillow menu
On your bed you’ll find a firm hollowfibre pillow (anti-allergy) and a soft feather pillow with down. We also have a selection of different pillows (bolsters, neck support pillows and side sleeper pillows). Please ask at Reception.
All pillows are deep cleaned annually or purchased new as needed.
Pets
Do you need a bowl or a dog bed? Please contact us - we’ll be happy to help.
Public transport
You will also be given a Mobility ticket for the duration of your stay.
Room cleaning
Room cleaning: Unless you have chosen not to have the daily room cleaning, your room will be cleaned by 3pm. Simply hang the "please make up my room" sign on your doors! Would you prefer not to be disturbed? Then simply hang up the "please do not disturb" sign.
Please note that if the “Please do not disturb" sign is on your door until 3pm, then your room will not be cleaned.
Room darkening
All rooms have roller blinds that can be operated automatically. The switch is located next to each room window.
Room service
Would you like to stay in for a change but not have to cook? It can be arranged! Treat yourself and enjoy a meal from the Teufelhof restaurant in the comfort of your own room. Drinks can be ordered around the clock and food until 9.30 pm to be brought to your room. For room service there is an additional charge of CHF 5.00 per order. Please find the menu here:
Safe
In all rooms there is a safe where you can safely store your valuables.
Shoe cleaning machine
Please ask the ambassador for the machine.
Sewing service
We are happy to accept small sewing job orders.
Smoking
We are a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is forbidden throughout the entire hotel. The garden is the only place where smoking is permitted. If you are smoking inside, we will charge a special cleaning fee of CHF 500.00
Seminars
Are you visiting our hotel for an event? The seminar rooms Heaven, Angel I and Angel II are located on the ground floor; the Eich room is on the top floor.
Simon & Josef
In the room there is a card with a QR code on which you can individually select whether and what you would like to have cleaned in the room.
Taxis
We are happy to order a taxi for you on request. The taxi can be paid for in cash or with a credit card. The cost of a journey to the station is approx CHF 20 and takes around 10 minutes.
A journey to the airport costs approx CHF 50 and takes around 15-20 minutes.
Towels
Your room is cleaned every day and provided with fresh towels. If you don’t need fresh towels, please hang up your towels. We will only change towels which are on the floor
Telephone
To call another room, dial 4 and then the three digit room number. To make external calls, press 0 and then the desired number.
Toiletries
Have you forgotten anything? A selection of toiletries is available from us (toothbrushes, razors etc.) Please don’t hesitate to contact Reception if you have left anything at home.
TV
The current TV-programm is on your right bedside table.
Umbrellas
“It never rains in Basel”! However if it does rain, ask our ambassadors for one of our umbrellas.
Valet Parking Service
Enjoy the comfort of our valet parking for CHF 35.00 per day. Just drive up and we’ll take care of the rest. Do you need your car? Call us on 061 261 10 10 and in 15-20 minutes your car will be all ready for you in front of our entrance.
Water
The SET water in your room is provided for you free-of-charge.
Wake-up service
We are happy to give you a telephone wake-up call by agreement. Please tell our ambassadors what time you would like to be woken up.
